The road segment pasted below is scheduled to be closed all Summer. There is access to Louisville, but there is no access to Jamestown. I’ve tried reporting via Waze app, but it still tries to route me through this area.

We found reference to the closure, till mid-August. When school re-opens, It mentions re-opening at that time for WB only … till Jan 2018.
We placed a closure. In your travels, if you see conditions change, please post a new report here.
Since you noted that access to Jamestown is not possible, how far west of the intersection with E 101st does the closure extend? We are closing it west to the parking lot in to Jenks Middle School. Mention of new sidewalks on the north side would suggest that.
Here is a quote, credited to “TALK 1170 RADIO”, on May 30, 11:59AM, 2017:
TULSA, Okla. - On Tuesday morning contractors closed East 101st Street between Jamestown and Louisville Avenues while they work on a street project.
The City of Tulsa says the new and improved street will benefit drivers. It’s adding a right-turn lane in front of Jenks Middle School east of Florence Avenue to ease traffic backup. The project is also creating a left-turn lane at Louisville Avenue to help traffic flow more efficiently.
Also, sidewalks north of 101st Street will be added to make it safer for students walking to and from school.
The street will be reopened mid-August when students return back to classes with only one lane open going westbound.
The whole project is expected to be completed by February 2018.
It’s technically closed right at Jamestown, but they blocked the neighborhood entrance to prevent traffic from detouring through the neighborhood. There is a private drive directly across from Jamestown that they need to leave access to. For everyone except the owner of that property, the way you have it marked is perfect.
If you could thank steveinark and mark as solved that would be great!
Thanks,
Ted
This section of road is now open westbound only. The neighborhood entrance/exit on Jamestown that was closed is also open as well. Pasted below is a quote from a city councilman that lives in the affected neighborhood.
Phil Lakin
Please use 101st for school, work, errands. As planned from the very beginning, it is one way (at Louisville now, but expanding further eastbound during construction) until the project is complete, which is projected for March. It will then open back to two way for the length of 101st, as it was, until the sewer repair work at Louisville happens during the summer of 2018. We’ll talk about that piece later, after engineers really know what the plan is.
Noted that the section from Jamestown to Louisville got changed to open westbound, closed eastbound … within the last few days.
What about the section from Florence to Jamestown? Now that school is close to being open, is that section completely open, restricted one way or the other? Let us know. Thanks.
That section is also one way westbound only. It’s been reported on Nextdoor that one way westbound now extends east past S Marion Ave. I’ll confirm on my way home this evening.
I drove this road on my way home, and the user report from Nextdoor was incorrect about Marion. The section that has been closed all summer is currently the only section that is westbound only. Appearently this is subject to change in the coming weeks though.
Westbound only now extends east to S Richmond Ave as of yesterday afternoon.
Added that section to the closure for eastbound travel only. All the sections closed are set to 1/31/2018. We’re sure changes will occur, but that keeps the closures in place till editors can change them as needed.
Louisville to Jenks school is open to normal 2 way traffic.
Louisville to Richmond should be marked as west bound only.
Thanks for the report. We’ve made the modifications as you’ve noted.
