Is this a…:
Standard bug Steps to reproduce this issue:
An intersection upgrade is occurring with roundabout removal. Before removing segments a RH turn was closed - this turn closure was applied to the JB exit from the appropriate entry as in the screen shot. JB was deleted and then RA was deleted but the turn closure still exists and now its impossible to get to to remove. It exist on both segments. The closure needs to be urgent removed.
Good news, I managed to find a work around to remove the Turn Closure which was preventing Scoota from finishing editing this intersection.
So the bug isn’t urgent anymore, however it should still be looked into so it doesn’t catch other editors out.
I joined up the segments again with new segments, added a JB back. Then when I reloaded WME the Turn Closure was visible and editable between the entry and exit segment of the JB. This allowed me to delete the Turn Closure first, then the JB and then also delete the segments I had added. Now there isn’t a hidden Turn Closure preventing editing these segments
I hope you are well.
I would just like to follow up on the issue - do you recall disabling the far turn with an active closure present at the time before deleting the JB and the roundabout? The history of the segment seems to suggest that this might have been the case, but I’d appreciate your confirmation.
Yes prior to deletion I had a turn closure on the JB exit arrow for the roundabout. That is confirmed by an earlier screen shot I provided - you’ll see I added text/commentary to that affect.
Is that all you were after or can I assist further?
Thank you for your reply @Scoota.
I was after one additional step that might have contributed to the issue - I can see the applied closure there, but did you disable that turn as well?
Normally, it would NOT be possible to delete a JB with an active turn closure, but we’ve noticed that if that turn is disabled in addition to the closure, the JB will get deleted and the closure will remain.
I hope this makes sense.
I am glad I took those screen shots as I am 99.9% certain I only applied a turn closure to the exit arrow - confirmed as its still green and using script URO+ I can see the underlying turn closure both from the outbound POV and the inbound POV. Its highly unlikely to nigh on impossible that I would have denied the turn and in addition added a turn closure - the entire benefit being turn closure is instant and the other depends on a tile rebuild.
Thanks a lot for the additional details. We’d have to look for other contributing factors then, not sure yet how to reproduce it reliably…
I appreciate all your input!
