I added a few new streets that weren’t in the system off of MD-97 in just north of the Howard/Carroll County line and the CSX train tracks (specifically, Wedekind Dr and Mabe Dr). The next day I noticed that Waze tried to route me around Hoods Mill Road and back to 97 instead of taking 97 straight through. I looked into it later that day and discovered I’d accidentally set a turn restriction where it said you could not go straight on 97 southbound. I fixed the problem and saved it (this was either Monday or Tuesday that I made the fix).
This morning, the Waze app still tried to route me around Hoods’ Mill, so I reported it as a map error. Additionally, I see someone else ran into the same issue yesterday and also reported it as a map error. Looking at the area, I don’t see any erroneous turn restrictions anymore.
I read somewhere that the map only updates in the app once a week. I suspect the correction hasn’t gotten pushed out to the public yet. Is that correct? If not, what is the issue?
