UK Meetup?

This is just a bit of a “testing the water” thread I guess.

I know we’ve got the Paris thing coming up next weekend, but I also know that we’ve got plenty of members who would have liked to go to it, but either weren’t invited or were unable to make it on the 19th.

I’m thinking at some point in the future it might be nice to have some sort of UK wazers get together. Thoughts and opinions on this?

Probably activity based. We tend to do a lot of waze discussion type stuff over social media (twitter/facebook).

I would think something mid-country would be appropriate, so everyone in the far reaches is a similar distance away. Obviously if someone has an idea of something in a particular place feel free to pipe up and we’ll see what people feel about it.

Hadrian had the right idea!
I think Scotland should be given the independence she craves so much.
However, once it happens, they should have to lose the use of OUR sterling currency and switch to the euro.

Were we to meet in Warrington or Preston, then sorting a venue is easy and I’d take care of it no problem (probably).
Blackpool would be easier still and I have 2 spare rooms to put people up and I still have contacts in the hotel B&B trade.
