I’ve been in and updated the new estate we live on but i can’t see how the postcode’s are assigned ?
Is this a higher level activity ?

Postcodes are not natively supported by Waze. It obtains the centre location of a postcode area from the Google Maps database. If Google Maps doesn’t have the postcode yet (unsure of it’s source, but probably the post office/royal mail), then it won’t appear on Waze.
In the mean time we can place the postcode on the Waze map manually, so if you let us know which Postcodes are missing we can add them. Please give us the postcodes, their assigned street name and town.

The roads and postcodes in the estate are as follows:
Somerset Close - GU8 6FB
Tiger Moth Lane - GU8 6FD
Water Meadow Place - GU8 6FE
Weyburn Lane - GU8 6FF
The only other error is the unnamed road at the southern edge doesn’t exist, but i can’t edit it.

I noticed your changes to add the postcodes are still not live. they look like they are awaiting moderation.

These are definitely live, if you’ve searched for them before you need t delete them from your recent history / saved locations and search again, Waze will used cached data otherwise.
That’s curious … i was checking on the web app, which doesn’t show them (tried different PC/browsers) but the Android app works fine … interesting.
Maybe the web uses a different data source ?
Yeah, the web livemap can be behind the app in get up to date data.
