Unable to create 2 Junction Box

Hi,
I wanted to report this error that I encountered by creating two Junction Box in my area (Torino/Italy):

Error: The highlighted node cannot have more than 16 connections

First JB:

I would like to point out that at the first intersection there was already a Junction Box that I had to redo to enter the lanes reserved for TAXI and to change the restriction times for access to the “ Mercato della crocetta”. If you need, I have a copy of the images with the previous settings.

The second Junction Box would have to be created new, but also for this I get the same error.

In Turin we have several much more complicated and bigger Junction Box than these two and they have been created in recent years without any problems.

The error always occurs with both WME Beta and WME PROD and with all scripts disabled.

With the current limitation of 16 routes through a JB, If there are more than 16 routes through the JB, I am not sure what anyone can do to solve the problem.

The programmers have to allow more routes through the JB first.

I am not sure how your example JB that has more than 16 routes through it was able to be created but I bet if you deleted it and tried to recreate it, it would error as well.

Thank you for your report. We will check the behaviour with the team.

Updated: My colleagues corrected me. There is a related suggestion “Allow more than 16 connections in Junction Boxes” and it works as intended at the moment. We have passed on the feedback to the team. Please upvote it also, to raise the importance of the case.

Thank you for your answer. I voted on the suggestion.
But can you please tell me exactly if the 16 connections in a JB are to be understood as all the possible combinations of the routes, or only the enabled routes?

Hi Silver,

We have received the answer, that the limitation in WME is on the number of existing node connections and crossroad connections (JB Paths), enabled or disabled.
