I want to edit the intersection at this URL.
I’d also like to fix the State Hwy 99 road naming, as it doesn’t display the street badge correctly and doesn’t conform to the wiki standard, It is incorrect for quite a long way in both directions.
I fixed the intersection for you. I’m not going to unlock the state hwy, though.
I appreciate your attempt to correct the issue, however there is no west turn at this intersection (the road is temporarily removed/shutdown) and the road to the east has been moved to the north a bit while they work on the overpass for the next year or so. If you look at the gps data you can probably guess where the road actually is. This is annoying that an area manager can come in and lock a large swath of roads according to his own standard, that were previously fine, not that I expect you to do anything, I’m just venting, but it defeats the “user edited maps feature”, I might as well go back to editing Google maps. Like I said I’m just venting, please don’t take my complaint personal, but if I can’t fix issues without begging permission, what is the point of waze? Most people won’t bother after the first roadblock, and will go elsewhere or leave the routing incorrect.
Someone had contacted me about the turn, too. I understand your frustration and I’ve been there. Trust me, I have been there. It seemed like everyday I was asking for an unlock request for something. If you keep editing, you’ll soon be able to do more. Another thing that helped me out was befriending some level 5 people so that I could just ask, instead of waiting for a post.
Is the turn correct, now?
Closer, there is no right turn when heading south on 99, elverta road is closed entirely heading west for a short distance, I believe u-turns are not allowed when heading north on 99 and when heading west on elverta from the east of this intersection a left (south) turn is allowed. Thank you.
FYI, I’ve fixed the geometery of the elverta/ Hwy 99 intersection, just can’t properly connect the roads
You can fix the nodes, now. I unlocked the major highway for 2 segments.
