This is not a roundabout (at least, it wasn’t this afternoon).

Unlock or fix please?

Bump?

Hey, we are volunteers, just like you… Please do not bump…

Unlocked.

Thanks… yes I know, I just thought it would save you having to look at the second page

Hi, I would PM flutterychicken about this. There must be a reason that they locked the roundabout(s) here. Perhaps they were looking at all other sources which show the roundabouts. But it would be polite to discuss with them first. At the very least it will stop them replacing the roundabouts if you delete them.

Will do - but I already removed the roundabout before reading your message.

Easy mistake to make - virtually every junction on that stretch is a roundabout, just not that one.

Note that there are 2 names: Watford (Herts) and Watford. I’m changing them to Watford (Herts). Please use Watford (Herts) as city name when you edit this area.

Thanks - will do. As luck would have it, that’s what I have been doing. Glad I was going the right way…!

Actually, I note that other cities are being divided up into localities. Should we be doing the same with Watford? There are some areas that are always referred to locally by their locality name - for example, Garston, Nascot Wood, Leavesden Green and so on, rather than Watford.

PS I did email flutterychicken who confirmed the removal of the roundabout was correct.

I remember there was a convention about naming the suburb but couldn’t find it. Maybe other wazers can help to find it

The question (I suppose) is at what point does it become “Suburb (City)” rather than “Suburb (County)”.

For example should it be “Garston (Herts)” or “Garston (Watford)”?

What complicates matters is that there is no consistency in the UK between geographical location, postal address and local administrative boundaries. So some of Garston actually isn’t in Watford, for example, from a local government point of view.

Quite subjective though. We have a long request to waze to give us ‘county field’ for the UK area but it seems waze will not implement it
