We need to unlock all of south road down to Ayliffes road. We are trying to add a South Road closure for two nights from 20:00 until 08:00 the next day.

Dates are: December 12 and December 13th.

Can you please help us?

Hi @SarahTtwoD ,

Thank you for reaching out. Road closures can only be added by editors level 3 and above. As you are a level 1, you wouldn’t be able to add a road closure even if it’s unlocked. I can see though you’ve added a road closure between 9pm to 8am the next day on those dates southbound though. Did you do this via the Waze partner portal or something similar?

Can you please confirm the following:

  • if it’s South Rd between Daws Rd and Ayliffes Rd?
  • Is the road closure in both directions?
  • Is it 9pm - 8am the next day or 8pm - 8am the next day?

  • Is it 9pm - 8am Friday 12/12 to Saturday 13/12 and then again from 9pm Saturday 13/12 to 8am Sunday 14/12.

Could you please help us to put the closure in for the NB closure of South Road?

Hi Sarah,

Thanks for confirming. I have now added the road closure northbound from 9pm - 8am on both evenings. I have noted that the southbound lanes are currently marked as 8pm to 8am. As these have been added by yourself, I do not have the ability to adjust them, but you can via the Partner Hub. If there are any issues on your end to modify the closure, I can escalate from my end too.
