Reason: On May 7th – 10th, there will be a full road closure on I-25 at Colorado Highway 60 (MM 252) for one weekend starting Friday at 9 p.m. to Sunday at 5 p.m. A detour will be in place to Larimer County Road 18. Commuters can take the Frontage Road from LCR 16 to LCR 18 or take County Road 3e or County Road 7. Speeds will be reduced to 35 mph over the CO 60 ramps. East- and westbound traffic on CO 60 will be closed over I-25 during the detour. The detour for CO 60 will be: The frontage road on the east side of I-25 to SH 402, and LCR 7 on the west side of I-25 to CO 60A and over to the frontage road on the east side for access to CO 402. A courtesy patrol vehicle with towing capabilities will be stationed at the interchange during peak hours to assist clearing and stalled vehicles or accidents that may occur I-25 is being widened from Colorado Highway 56 to Colorado Highway 14 to accommodate an express lane in each direction and reconstruct interchanges. Full closures decrease the duration of traffic impacts and increase safety for the traveling public and crews.
