The speed limit is 25, however, on a very short segment of this, there is a school zone which flashes when school is in session. At that time, the part that is just in front of the school is 20.

Thanks for reaching out to us. We have to follow Waze guidelines when we edit, Waze only marks school zone speed limits if that it the speed limit all of the time. If it’s that speed limit during hours when schools are in session, it is marked incorrectly most of the time. We expect our users to follow those speed limits using the posted signs. I hope that you understand why we can’t make that change.

The school zone is for about a length of a block, maybe slightly more. Waze shows the speed limit of 20 for closer to a mile. It isn’t just that it isn’t when it’s in effect, it is that it is showing it for several times more of the road than it is effect in even when school is in session. I don’t see a way to attach, or I could show you a video of the road so you could see how inaccurate it is.

Looking at the history of that segment, it appears that a rank 1 editor changed the speed limit from 25 to 20 back in 2018. This change was not following the guidelines that SnyOwl mentioned. I have changed to speed limit back to 25. It will take a few days to reach the app.
