I would like to be able to edit the following segments.
Your help will be greatly appreciated. I would like to avoid massive amounts of uber / taxi / lyft drivers from coming down blocks where a lot of kids play in the streets during the summer. They use this way as a shortcut to avoid waiting in line to get to the beach parking lot at RIIS park. Last year 3 kids were hit by these types of drivers and parents around the neighborhood want to avoid this issue during the summer.

NOTE: When this is reviewed by NY leadership, I noticed that this segment had several changes made to it that do not appear to be accurate.
Street was changed from LS to PR
SL was 25mph to 2mph
Restriction was added as well
I don’t see anything in SV that supports these changes but will leave for local leadership to decide.

Roads in Waze must accurately represent the roads in reality, including speed limits, function, and access to them. If there is a situation that warrants a road change, it must be brought up with the local municipality, in this case, the NYC DOT.
As Waze editors, we are expected to make map edits that reflect this reality, and ANY exceptions in NY are to be approved by NY State Managers. We have also undone your other similar edits in the area, and would ask that any further edits made by you reflect the actual status of the road as reflected by DOT sanctioned signage. I will send you a PM with information on joining our Discord chat so you can work with other editors on understanding mapping guidelines before making changes that might not reflect the status of roads accurately.
