Since it takes a Rank 3 editor to instantly close down the road with a real time closure. Can you tell us how long it will be closed for and why it is closed.
If I lower the segments to allow you to add a prohibited time based segment restriction it will route till Thursday morning or longer. Also it will take a day or longer to remove the closure.
Note I have closed the road through Friday on 9/22 while awaiting your response.
The Road Construction Crews have been tearing up approximately 7 miles of road, so up until yesterday, there were no Road Closures around that area.
Today though, Tuesday, September 13, 2022 @ 10:25 AM, is another story. Unlike other years, nothing has come to our residence giving us a timeframe for how long that long stretch of road will be closed for. We live about 4 miles from the closed area.
This is CERTAINLY something I wouldn’t have gone out of my way for, but this made me roughly 30-minutes late for my college classes. Putting myself in the place of others, I don’t want others to go through this because I’ve known some that a delay like that cost them their jobs.
Since this is a route that’s HEAVILY relied on in our area, I had to put the word out.
After I finish up with college tomorrow, I will stop by and talk to the Road Construction Crews to try to get some more information and a timeframe as to how long that particular stretch will be closed for.

I’ll give you an update as soon as I finish up with my college classes.
The closure has been updated. Is this a full closure for multiple days? Or only certain times of day? Frederick County is reporting there are some single lane closures here for paving.

That’s what I need to talk to the Road Construction Crews about after I get out of my college classes tomorrow. I should have the update in around 2:15 PM EST.

The roads I reported prior that were closed are now open.
As to why they were closed, not a clue, but considering that Camp David is there, perhaps they were closed because of a visit from President Biden?

The reporter stated that the road has one lane closed for paving M-F 8 am - 4 pm. Sounds like there is alternating traffic and the algorithm will take care of that change in speed. I removed the closure.
