Hi VTRANS-TMC! Are you a Waze for Cities (W4C) / Connected Citizens Program (CCP) partner? If so, you’ll want to reach out to staff through your portal, because editing permissions require a bit of training on the editor. It’s a fairly complex system that is easy to break - it takes just us volunteer editors several months to years to be allowed to edit any high locked roads (e.g., US routes and freeways) and using complex traffic tools the editor offers. I think the training only allows you to edit roads locked up to R3 (most state highways and minor arterial or below in functional classification), so you’ll still need unlocks from the community for higher traffic roads.
If you are looking for timely and correct fixes in the app, we’d love to have you connect directly with the editing community. That way, you don’t need to post a forum unlock for every issue and we can even open a direct channel of communication with the editors (who are available almost 24/7).
