I am trying to get the location of a home added to Waze so people in our community (Camp Humphreys, Pyeongtaek, South Korea) can find the home of a Marine who is about to give birth so we can set up a Meal Train for her. As it is now, this address cannot be found on Waze or Naver, the two most commonly used apps here.
This is very frustrating. This Marine’s due date is 15 October and I need to be able to let people know how to easily get to her home to drop off food.
The streets in this entire area are named , “Seokbong-gil” and the house numbers are based on how many meters away the street branch is from the previous intersection i(n this case, the intersection of reference is Paengseongbuk-ro and Seokbong-gil) and then the house number. So, the house number of this Marine is 62-39. So, the street branch of Seokbong-gil where she lives is 62 meters from the intersection of Paengseongbuk-ro (there is a GS 25 quick shop on that corner) and Seokbong-gil. The house number is 39.
Housing developments in this area are named and that is usually how people find the general area where the house is. For instance, I can easily find our house if I just type, “Noble House 4” into Waze. Unfortunately, the housing development where this house is located also does not appear on Waze. The development name is “Ari House” and there only seem to be 2 semi detached houses which are included in it.
