I’d like to have someone unlock Oakleigh Rd in Parkville (
Permalink and Permalink) down to a level 1 as there are missing addresses, and the traffic pattern there has changed. Thanks!
Good afternoon jaumann, we actually just had one of volunteers responding to a user report in the area this afternoon.
He’s disconnected the one-way portion of the Oakleigh Rd, and set the remaining portion to two-way. As for the addresses, although some are missing residential point places (RPPs), they do have house numbers that you might not be able to see.
You can always add more RPPs by Clicking: PLACE > OTHER, then adding the address information, and then “Convert to residential/private” then “add a entry(stop) point” at the end of the driveway.
They’ll need to be approved after you submit them.

Restrictions:
Northbound, M-F, 3:30p.m. to 6:30p.m, minimum 2 passengers
Southbound, M-F, 6:00a.m. to 9:00a.m, minimum 2 passengers

HELP! I cannot find where to get help with being flagged/ blocked from making place updates. After it’s fixed I want to know who and why! I didn’t get to be top 50 in MD editing maps or driving a long haul truck. I’ve been VERY active helping my fellow DMV commuters, I don’t deserve to be treated this way!!!

I need to get a closure marked on a segment of Gillis Falls Rd in Mount Airy-

The road has been closed for a couple of weeks between the two Challedon Cir intersections due to the roadway being washed away West of Wimbelton Dr. Traffic is being detoured via Challedon Cir around the closure.
Closure added thru 15:59 on Aug 31st. Let us know when it reopens by either replying here or adding a comment to the closure itself from the app.

Walter Reed National Military Medical Center has closed a gate permanently and updated hours for two other gates. They are locked at a level 5. If someone could please update.

MD 100 does not accept cash. Waze should not send people there. Please tell Waze. I have tried other ways and nothing works
MD-100 is not a toll road. I am assuming you are referring to MD-200, the ICC. That road does do video toll collection. That will be one of the routes allowed if you have Tolls turned on in Waze, if it is in the fastest routes.

If you are looking to update to the Clarksburg Grill/Grocery, you can make your changes straight to the Waze Place, and they will be sent to editors for approval. Or you can just let us know what you’d like changed, and we can make sure it is up to date.

Hi since you didn’t list the business name or address, will provide some information on how to add. If you provide the name and or address we can do this for you too, if desired. Note we can’t add a picture, since the person needs to be at the location to add the picture.
There are two ways to add your business location.

In the app when at the location, tap the orange Report button to add a place. You will take a picture with your camera and the press >>. You can add the additional information as you desire to complete the information that people will see. When done adding information submit the data with Done.

In WME, you can follow the guidance in the Places wazeopedia. Basically
- Go to the area of the business in WME.
- Hover over the Place button on the grey tool bar on top of the WME screen.
- Select the appropriate category
- Select a point place (pinhead) or area place (small quadrilateral); please note most places are point places in Waze.
- Click on the location of the place
a. If a point place then add the information in the box to the left (address, name, better sub category (ex Hotel instead of Lodging), add the entry point where you want the arrival to be designated at, On the More information tab add the website, the phone number, Check the services provided, add the hours that the business is open.
b. If an area place, then continue to click to add the boundary of the area; double click to end. The add the information listed in 5.a.
