I am writing on behalf of the University of the Philippines Diliman - Transportation Management Office (TMO). We are looking to formally integrate the campus’s traffic management and road data into Waze to better serve the UP community and the public who pass through our grounds.
As TMO, we manage the traffic flow, parking, and road closures for the Diliman campus. Our goal is to ensure that major university events (such as the Lantern Parade, UAAP games, and the UP Fair) and routine restrictions (like the Academic Oval car-free days) are accurately reflected in real-time on the Waze map to avoid congestion.
I have a few questions for the local Champs and community leads:

Map Edits and Waze for Cities Application: We recently applied for the partnership, however it was declined. What is the best course of action for public institutions, and are there specific local contacts we should coordinate with to verify our office’s authority?

Area Manager (AM) Status: While we wait for the official partnership approval, we would like to begin updating campus-specific details (road directions, parking lots, and closures). How can we best coordinate with the local AMs to ensure our edits align with Philippine community standards?
