There’s an upcoming road closure for Little Docklands Drive in Docklands.
It’s not until mid-January. Can road closures be scheduled? Or do they need to be added as they happen?

Thanks @PMaxDino for letting us know. We can certainly schedule in closures in advanced. Before we do however, based on satellite imagery (available to L2+) it looks like St. Mangos Lane north of Little Docklands Dr might need to be realigned, however GPS tracks follow the old path. Assuming you’re familiar with the area can I confirm whether any changes are necessary, and whether you’re happy to do them or if you need me to do anything? Thanks.

I’m local to the area, so I can definitely have a look. To my knowledge the carriageway alignment hasn’t changed — the road position appears correct on the ground. Would you be able to share a screen shot of your new imagery?
I know they’re building a new apartment building in the green space between St Mangos Lane and Footscray Road, but from memory the road geometry shouldn’t have shifted.
I’ll be by there again early in the new year and can have another sticky when I drive past to double check.

This is what the most recent imagery we have available reflects. Though given the GPS arrows still follow what we have mapped I’m not sure if it’s reverted back, closed, or people just aren’t really using the new route, it does seem less useful now.
I’ve gone ahead and mapped the closures now just in case to make sure they’re not forgotten. If we need to adjust the roads before the closure we can always remove them and then add them back on.
Wow - how interesting! I literally drive past it daily and hadn’t noticed they had adjusted it.
Let me have another look early in the new year and will report back - but I suspect that is the new layout. The updated imagery shows the cyclist overpass on Footscray Road, which indicates this would be the most recent layout after construction of the car park.
