Hello, I manage properties in Dumfries, VA 22026 and a new neighborhood in the Potomac Shores community has a misspelled name. The street name is mislabeled as White Champion Way (cross street is River Heritage Blvd). The proper name of the street is White Campion Way. Spelled C-A-M-P-I-O-N. Is someone able to help update this?

You’ll notice on page 318 there’s no White Champion, it’s White Campion.
Thank you for pointing out this potentially embarrassing error! The street name has been corrected on our map, although it will likely take several days, and possibly up to a week, before you see the change in the app on your phone.
As stated above the street name has been adjusted. This should reach mobile devices within a few days. On rare occasions it can take closer to a week.
Please remove any instance of an address on this street from your history and favorites by the following: https://support.google.com/waze/answer/6262570?hl=en.
Then, perform a new search and resave. If you don’t remove the old results from your navigation or Favorites/Home/Work, then you will continue to be routed to the old coordinates.
I also updated the Residential Place Points on the street to the correct. name.
Once it is working properly for you (Probably Thursday at the earliest) can you please check the green check mark by the subject of the post to indicate that the problem has been resolved.
