Hi there,
I’m just asking for streets inside the CBD of Adelaide to be unlocked. There seem to be a few random ones that are locked which is preventing me from converting the CBD from two one-way roads into one two-way road.
Not sure how to put co-ordinates down from the new papyrus editor… indeed, I’m not sure how many locked roads there really are in the city!
Set the proper location, and zoom. Highlight segments you want worked on, then click permalink just below the map in the lower right hand corner.
This information is also available in the wiki, which I’ve linked in my sig.
OK, Thanks for the tip! I’ll get on to it as soon as I can…
Also, West Terrace and Grote Street @ https://world.waze.com/editor/?zoom=7&lat=-34.92934&lon=138.58789&layers=BFTFTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
In fact, a lot are partly locked in many places - is it possible to just batch select a whole area?
Also, I was thinking of removing the tramline that someone had put down due to the fact that it is sort of screwing with some intersections - the Tramline doesn’t mean that cars can’t drive there, but it’s certainly making mapping the area more difficult. Thoughts?
Cheers,
Droz
For the tram, map it like it was on a bridge or in a tunnel… make it so it does not connect to any of the streets.
I was thinking about that, perhaps it shall work!
Also, I wanted to know if there was any way of going “back in time” to see how the roads had developed - the roads here in adelaide are wide, have a few lanes, and I have thought that perhaps someone set them up properly, but the “automatic road update” feature of Waze may turn two-way roads into two one-way roads instead after many trips. Is it possible to find out under what circumstances a road was created, and how it has evolved over the course of the existence of Waze?
Cheers,
Droz
