Segment 68518082 should be able to continue onto tremont street segment 22948465. There was a couple of things in the area that were missing the city and street names (I fixed what I saw). The types of roads in the area seems inconsistent with good editing, but they are locked. be streets when two segments away it becomes a primary road? Also the ramp segment seems like it would be better as a primary street.
This interchange is a bit of a mess, geometry-wise. Westbound on Washington, the “turn” onto Tremont westbound should be enabled; in fact, I don’t think that bit of Tremont needs to be split at all. Some of this was done within just the last couple days, by at least one fairly new editor, so I’ll probably lock this Gordian Knot when I’m done, to make sure it stays put.

More importantly, let me know how it works. In particular, I spent a lot of time trying to work out why there are two left turns from the westbound road along the northern edge of the interchange. I would have made the first one a U-turn lane to head back east, and the second (westernmost) one to head south, so that traffic from the two turns wouldn’t cross each other. But looking at the signs, it seems to be just the opposite: the first left turn is to head south, and the second left is to head back east.
Lol, I grew up in upstate NY and I’ve traveled some, but I’ve never seen the road layouts like I’ve seen in MA. Every time I see intersections like this I just have to scratch my head and wonder what led the road engineers to route traffic like this.
That was one of my questions: why are there two left-turn roads from Washington St WB? Without obvious signs, I guess we have to bow to local use. The segments are unlocked now.
When in doubt, blame it on the cows that originally chose the path.
Seriously, in this case, someone who lived on Champney probably said he wanted to be able to turn left at the end of his street rather than take an instant U-turn, and this is the result.
