Found a state smudge here. I just selected some of the segments along US-151. I’ve got enough on my plate in WI, so I figured I’d call out to some Iowans who might want to tackle this (unless mapcat/the1who intercept first ;))
Also, I can’t delete this segment. Any advice?
I believe I have fixed a majority of the smudge. It seems that expanding the search with small viewable area for the roads to populate the name field, will take some time to really thoroughly clean. But as far as directly around and in Cascade, no Illinois smudge anymore. The other problem with deleting I couldn’t find the segment you were referring to, so I imagine that is taken care of right? Hope that I have helped with your request, thanks!
Ha! That thread was so old. I imagine the segment was a ghost segment that got fixed during the infrastructure upgrade. I just knew I wasn’t going to get to it with the amount of available work to do in WI and figured it’d be good experience for a noob, not a CM :lol:
Yeah, I know it was old, but I was addressing everything that I could find with my name in the search of it. The state smudge though gave me something to do and gain experience more with the WME Highlights tool. I know how to use it for other things, but using it for the city/state highlight really became enjoyable to learn that function. Living near a state border myself, KC also hurdling two states, will give some better insights to proper naming of the segments now. Something I didn’t know I could do before until I read this, and yeah, I shouldn’t have probably even replied to the thread… Happy New Year!
