The whole exit has changed. All of the ramps come together into one traffic light in the middle of the overpass. I would fix it, but am unable to edit since the interstate is locked by a level 5.
Essentially the intersection needs to be completely rebuilt to reflect the changes. There are lots of UR that show the GPS coordinates for the new ramps. The construction has been done for a couple months now.
Thanks for the reference WeeeZer That’s exactly what it is. Would it also be possible to unlock the ramps since they are in the wrong positions as well?
So I’ve updated the intersection. I tried to base it off of the GPS coordinates as much as possible. I’m sure that when the satellite images are updated that some of the roads will need a little tweaking but I think that I should be pretty close.
If someone wouldn’t mind taking a look and checking it over, this is the biggest change that I’ve made to the map so far and it would be nice to have a second set of eyes check it over to make sure that I didn’t miss anything or screw up some turns.
Thanks again for unlocking the roads, I should be done with them now.
Also I am not sure why Scottsville Rd is still displaying red. From what I can tell, there shouldn’t be any errors. If someone could educate me on this I would appreciate it!
Looks good so far. I did fix some soft turns (real minor issue).
Can you find and put in the full name for the Exit ramps (right now it just says Exit 22) and remove any spaces from the I-65 segments and on-ramps? (there shouldn’t be a space after the hyphen any more, at one time yes, but not any more)
I’ve locked down the interstate, but I’ll leave the major highway unlocked so that you may tinker with it with the URs and SRs that I’m sure you’re about to get.
Looks very good now. I locked things up. The only change I made was to remove the exit name from the ramps that actually touch Scottsville Rd. Ideally we should name them with what ever road signs are on the ramp, but as no name it will tell you to stay right or left for Scottsville Rd which is the next best action.
Yes, the name for the ramps should match any signs. Typically there should be some sort of sign for the ramp split with either city names or the N/S/E/W direction of the highway/road the exit connects to. So taking the exit going north on 65, the left branch may be named “to Bowling Green” and the right branch named “to Scottsville” for example. Or “to US-231 N” and “to US-231 S”. Or “to US-231 N / Bowling Green”. All depending on the real world signs.
