I’m not sure how you -currently- handle responses for URs, but I believe a script that recently came out can be used to improve our handling of URs in our tri-lingual country context: [Script] URComments-Enhanced (URC-E)
URC-E is the new and improved version of URC. It is translated in multiple languages and allows for automatic switch of comment languages based on States. Which means that if you open a UR in Bern, your comments templates will automatically be in german, and if you then open a UR in Lausanne they will be in french, without needing to manually switch lists.

It offers many automization options and button tools on the UR itself which will automatically insert a street name, date, or whatever the reporter wrote to quote him/her. Overall a very useful tool.
Currently we only have a functioning basic french list, german and italian are still empty, and that’s mostly what I’d want to solve at first. Once we have basic responses for each language we’ll then be able to improve the lists by adding other various messages, such as missing vignette etc…
I’ve made a sheet with the basic (minimum) list, currently the german text is just a copy/paste of the french text processed through an online translator: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JAAhRI1g-fODb_OKkwrIhKUXRKArJ1u98V3b9d2WRSY/edit?usp=sharing
I guess it does not have to be a translation and can be totally different, as long as it remains to answer the problem mentioned to the left (wrong turn, missing exit, etc…)
Indeed and there is still a lot to do, even for french, I’m just trying, for now, to get at least the basic ones installed in all 3 languages so that when CM’s from each side of the röstigrabe find a UR in another Canton, they can use any national language easily.
I’ve tried to do the German Translation for the URComments-Enhanced Script. Please have a look to the Google Spreadsheet, which was initially created by Vince. I hope the translation to German is OK. If you see any mistakes or wrong Sentences, feel free to correct them.
Update: URC-E should now be operational for use with german. (Thanks MattKo!)
I will get to Italian during september as I know someone who will be able to provide natural translations.
We’ve only covered the basic/default errors, now we can also get to other ones (like adding the vignette pass on the Waze App etc…), just suggest it here and we’ll make a standar reply in FR,DE and IT.
