I noticed, with Android auto at least, if I’m following directions, the road I am on displays below the icon arrow for me. If I simply have the Waze map going but I don’t have directions going, the road I am on does not display below the arrow icon for me. It would be really helpful to have the road you are on displayed even when you aren’t following directions.
