The associated business should be the primary focal point of the photo.

Photos in a medical category should not include clear pictures of a persons face or license plate to ensure a higher standard of privacy for patients.

No photos should violate the Waze Terms of Use

Instead of just medical categories, I recommend we expand the coverage of places where there should be no faces/license plates to any place where users might wish to maintain privacy.

That’s is far more extensive than medical. These would include women’s/homeless shelters, food banks/soup kitchens, religious places, government, court, and political offices/voting precincts, counseling/self-help/Weight Watchers/etc. and pharmacies (not sure if these count as medical), adult stores/theaters, CBD/cannabis businesses, jails/prisons/probation offices/police stations, pawn shops, and gun stores and gun ranges. Really anything where there is common “judgment” by a class of another.

If we do that, then we may as well go back to what it was before.

I have a similar concern with identifying information in places. I think there is a balance to be struck between the usefulness of the photos and protecting privacy. I think that RPPs for houses/apartments/etc. should also haver a higher level of scrutiny. These aren’t public places like stores or offices.
