Update / Unlock request - Lancashire, UK

The junction is pretty much entirely locked. The connections seem overly complicated anyway but it is suggesting U-turns as part of route recalculations when travelling eastwards on Garstang Rd.

Not entirely sure what the best approach is here though, should I just fix the allowed / disallowed turns or attempt to simplify the entire junction?

EDIT:
In fact that stretch of road in general looks like it could do with more work https://world.waze.com/editor/?zoom=6&lat=53.84802&lon=-2.94745&layers=BFTFTTTTTTFTTTTTTTTTFT&segments=150740212 just a bit to the west also seems overly complex at first glance.

I’ve edited that junction in the past, and while I did feel it was over complicated, I left it as Seasider had drawn it. The details won’t be visible on the client anyway.

At present, there’s no advantage to having the right turn lane when coming from the west, as Waze doesn’t give a ‘keep right’ instruction. This should either be removed, or renamed.

Personally, I’d prefer to see a straight forward 4-way cross, without any split carriageways.

Which route is giving U-turn instructions?

That second junction could definitely do with simplifying.

If you are heading west to east along Garstang Road the middle of the three lanes allows you to turn right and then turn immediately right again to be heading back in the opposite direction.

This suggests a problem further along Garstang Rd. What is the final destination for this route?
