US-1 Bypass in Portsmouth is shown as a “minor highway” when in fact it’s a much more substantial thoroughfare than other roads marked as “major highway”.

Is there any reason this road shouldn’t be upgraded?
What is the Functional Classification of the road?
According to this, it’s one level down from an interstate, equal to Middle St. through Portsmouth. I couldn’t find any catalog of FFC for New Hampshire roads; NH appears to rely on its own categories.
Tricky punks up there in NH… When you click on blue “i” at the top of the screen, then the dot in the popup box and then a road, and THEN hover on the road you selected you get another popup that shows both “Function Class” & “Legislative Class”. The Function Class is the FFC number (pre-2009 - before USDOT removed the distinction between urban & rural) and the Legislative Class is what you found on the Wiki page.
This image should help you translate those numbers into something useful.

Thanks for the pointer about how to use this New Hampshire map; with these pointers, it’s a very valuable resource.
To the specific question I posed: US-1 Bypass is FC 12 (Principal Arterial-Expressway), the same category as the Spaulding Turnpike, and so looks like it should be marked as a Major Highway, rather than its current Minor Highway status. I have made this change except for one small segment near the rotary (where Spaulding Turnpike peels off), which is locked, and submitted an unlock request for that segment.
