This has to do with The project replaces the US 51 southbound bridge over Cottage Grove Road including the approaches, southbound ramps, and resurfaces Cottage Grove Road at the interchange.
The current Waze map is wrong, Corrections are:
Closed On Ramp: from Cottage Grove Road to 51 south. Someone died there so they closed it.
Once you view the web site below, you will see three bridges, center is closed under construction. The southbound also exits to cottage grove road. The Waze map shows three separate bridges which is correct, but the southbound is also the CGR exit. And through traffic would not occur on the middle bridge because that is closed.
hard to describe with words, I would edit the map, was a cartographer for 8 years, but I am newbie on waze map editing so understandably need to earn my stripes. Hoping a level 4 can help out.

In regards to the 51/Cottage Grove Rd construction project, we do have some editors that are monitoring that. The SB 51 on-ramp is currently closed until the end of July.
As for the bridges, I can see the issue. Looks like the new off-ramp was preemptively mapped, but not closed (or the closure expired before it actually opened). I can take care of that right now by closing it.
