I’ve mapped in the new Visitor Control Center for Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. It’s on Sherman Avenue, just North of Metropolitan.

Would a Level 2 or above Editor validate and approve, please…

I’m up at Leavenworth every now and then. I think I disapproved your original Area Place because you mapped the motor pool (truck parking) for the National Guard unit across the street. According to the info on the Leavenworth website, it’s a provisional site in a tent, so I don’t think it would warrant an Area Place just yet.

What had been the motor pool is now the parking lot for the visitor center. If you want me to create a point, though, I will.

You are totally correct. I was just up there today and I realize that that motor pool is no longer there. Go ahead and create a place pount and make sure that you create roads the match up to get people routed there.

guess I learned a valuable lesson today. Don’t trust Google Map data, it’s probably out of date.
