Is it possible to set the alert for any speed? I am going 40kph, and if the speed trap is for above 40kph, I do not hear audio alerts. I’d like to hear audio alerts even if I am going 10kph, so I know its coming. Otherwise I just get a banner alert, in which there’s no voice alert. This is for Stuttgart area.

At speed cameras, as far as possible, an announcement is always made when the maximum speed limit is exceeded approx. 500 m in front of it.
If this is not the case, no warning is given.
In the Settings > Alerts & reports > Speed limit alerts you can adjust the warning threshold again.
If there are no warnings at all, you can check in Settings > Alerts & reports > Reports > Speed cams > Alert while driving, if both settings are activated.
Unfortunately, we (editors) cannot set a warning for speed cameras, regardless of the speed limit, and this was not desired to implement in recent surveys.

They were able to implement 10kph limit. So, the threshold wasn’t desired by many people? For me, I’d like to hear an alert whether I am going 40kph or 20kph, just to know. I feel good when I hear the audio alert.

we discussed the proposal yesterday in the community and came to the following decision:
Due to the legally tense situation regarding speed camera warnings in Germany and the feedback of internal surveys at Waze, we want to keep the current settings.
This corresponds to a speed camera warning, only when exceeding the speed limit about 500 m before.
In other communities this is possibly regulated differently, but not according to the recommended standard.
