I’m running the Waze 1.8.1 on an iphone 4c and can’t find how to activate voice command.
Is this available in Belgium ?

I was sure I saw the option on my device…
In fact, I started using Waze in France.
Any idea why it is not activated for the French voice in Belgium as it seems to work in France ?
If you have a rooted device, you can force it to activate…
Also, there are some codes you can try, to activate it, but i don’t know how fast the geo-settings are kicking in.

I now can see the menu and did activate the feature.
The 3 finger tap did not work but I’ll try while driving :-/
you can choose how to activate, as not all devices support multitouch, as in more than 2 touches at the same time, or have this feature disabled.
You can also activate a wave function…
you also need to play with some settings in a waze preferences file. One of these settings switches off the automatic update from Waze for certain features. In this case, Waze switches off your Active Speech Recognition in Belgium. By setting this automatic update to off, making the changes yourself with the code from Steven, you can get it working.
Be aware that when new features are introduced, you might not get all the functionality due to this (I had that when Groups were replaced with Teams)
