Is it possible to enable voice commands in the UK version? I don’t have voice commands in the settings menu in my app - iPhone 4S, iOS 6.
I didn’t even know there were even voice commands in waze until I was trying to find out if it was possible to mark a ‘flood’ hazard, which is apparently possible through voice commands but not through the UI.
It’s not officially available over here yet. Do a search (using Google, include “site:waze.com” in your search).
But it’s weak at best, as I’ve mentioned before I can never reliably get it to understand my Scottish accent.

The voice commands never really work for me. They are also commands, it’s not like Siri “ahh crap, traffic!” and Siri loads up a new route to your destination.
It sort of works for me if I’m at home in the quiet.
As soon as I’m in my car (which is not the quietest) and moving it fails to work at all, which is a shame as that’s when I need to use it.
sort of works for me too but all I really want is the magic word to be a monster…
