Voice, "Turn Right"... actually Left Turn

Being new to WME, I had no idea about the “Junction Style Guide”: https://wiki.waze.com/wiki/Junction_Style_Guide/Controlling_turn_instructions

I just installed https://wiki.waze.com/wiki/Community_Plugins,_Extensions_and_Tools#WME_Junction_Angle_info

The right turn is at an angle of 41°, the left turn is 136°. The guide advises for left/right turns, to use an angle in the range of 45°- 150°.

The UR reports that when Waze indicated a left-turn, the voice said ‘turn right’. I thought this may have been a phone GPS limitation, and there was a delay. But getting on the off-ramp, the voice would have said “keep right” and not “turn right”.

Any ideas, on why Waze voiced ‘turn right’ but indicated a left turn?

If you select the two segments, you can see that the left turn was actually 41 degrees.

I’ve cleaned up the geometry now to be at 78 degrees. This may solve it.

Thanks, i’ll pay more attention to the angles.

edit: didn’t know selecting two segments shows the degree difference.

I wish Waze had integrated these plugins into the standard WME. Almost all the plugins are useful, it would be very helpful to new editors.

Yeah, that’s been a common comment. The big thing is that the development process would be hindered substantially by doing that. When a new version of the editor is released, often the plugins will break or at least be hindered until they can be updated.
