Thanks to the incredible efforts of our localization community, Waze academy courses are now available in multiple languages! :tada:

How can you access the courses in your language?

  1. Log in to the training platform here.

  2. Scroll to the bottom and go to ‘locale’.

  1. After selecting your preferred language, go to the right side and select ‘Topic’.

  1. Choose Waze Communities in your preferred translated language.

  1. Enter the relevant course you would like to complete:)

Hi @shirapashu!

The new Level Up Your Editing: Essential Editing Course and Mastering Edit Reviews Course are great resources for the community and undoubtedly essential for editors’ development. However, they are currently only available in English on the Waze Academy.

I would like to know if there is any plan to translate these courses, as this would further encourage all community participation. Many editors have already engaged with the previous courses, mainly because they were available in another languages.

Thank you for the feedback and we absolutely agree that having these courses in multiple languages is crucial for broader community engagement.

  • Next week, we’re starting the translation process for both the ‘Level Up Your Editing’ and ‘Mastering Edit Reviews’ courses.

  • We’ll be sending them to the community for translation, which typically takes about a week or two for completion. So, we’re aiming to have the translated versions available in April.
