Waze has some kind of cache memory

Hi All

I would like to know: If Im traveling between two points, distant 1400 km, and between those two points I have no connection data for several times. how this will be accounted for?

Waze is designed for data networks. It can survive small outages, but for best results you need data network.

The key times especially would be at the beginning and end of trip.

Note that at least on the iPhone, we have submitted a bug to Waze that if the client is out of communication with the server for more than an hour, it will not reconnect.

Also best to pan and scan the route on the phone when on wifi, to download the map tiles while you can. Even if you can get a route to work (which for that distance, might be problematic) that not all map tiles for the whole route are cached ahead of time.
