WAZE MAP only show in Japanese

how can i change the MAP language to English. I can change app language to English but MAP is still showing me in Japanese Language.

Sorry Waze cannot change the map language.
The Waze map always show local language (current countries, Ex: Japan = Japanese, China = Chinese, US = English) .

If you want to change the map language, please use Google Maps.
Google Maps can display Waze traffic reports, but cannot post traffic reports.

Off to Japan tonight, has there been any update re Japan but showing address and guidance in English?

It’s not in English.The Japanese waze isn’t even 10% complete.If you want to go without hesitation, we recommend using Google Maps.
