Google maps doesn’t behave very well on our Cape Cod website as many of our business’ addresses are recognizable villages and Google makes the address of the town appear (for instance Google shows Barnstable when the actual location is Hyannis).
I’m wondering if Waze might be better at this IF we add the locations of our businesses to a Waze map like we can to Google map.
I just want to clarify, are you asking about embedding a map on the site, and needing to add the locations to the map?
There is a way to embed the map to the site. You’ll need to go to the live map on your computer here: https://www.waze.com/livemap Search for the business name, and on the left hand side click on “Share”. A window will pop up, and in one of the tabs there will be an option to embed the map with a line of code and URL to that specific place.
