Probably this has been talked about before but I was watching scoblizer talking to waze folks and saw the driver using waze logo’d car mount. Is that available? I’ve been thinking about getting a mount so IF this this is around, I would like to spend money on that one.
Or do you guys recommend something good out there?
I use this one here

Works nicely with Waze
You guys know anyone that uses or used ProClip?
Noticed he’s using Waze in the video.
ProClip IMHO is by far the best out there, though extremely pricey. Mounts are tailored to your vehicle and your device, and construction is top-notch.
One thing that I did notice about this, and didn’t mention previously, is it doesn’t really allow you to plug in your charger and/or audio.
I use this one since I never listen to CD’s. It makes it convienent to move to other cars also.

Just installed a Proclip in my car for my iphone. So far so good
I didn’t care for the Waze branded one that much because the neck was too long, and my car tends to idle high sometime and it vibrates the hell out of the phone when it was in the holder so I gave to my sister who is now using it and Waze.
I bought this one for my Galaxy Nexus (I like the weighted one so I don’t need to put on my windshield)

This is also the cheapest car mount holder I’ve seen for under $4. I had it but I gave to a friend because I liked the Arkon one better

One of the little arms on my Waze mount started sliding out and wouldn’t hold the phone anymore. I took it apart and there’s a spring in there that makes it open automatically when you push the button. It seemed to be putting too much tension on the little gears causing them to slip. So I put it back together without the spring and it works fine. I just keep the tension enough to hold the phone and slide it in and out now. I feel that I improved the design without the spring.*
*In other words, I couldn’t get the thing back together with the spring in there, so I did left it out.
