We’ve received a map update request to Waze support and we’re posting here on the user’s behalf. The link to this post will be forwarded for the user to follow up.
This is the user’s request: The user’s issue is about the pin wherein it was set too far from their location.
User’s Verbatim - One of our customers that was coming to pick up something at our location was using the Waze app on their phone and the directions gave them incorrect directions and had them on a road that does not connect to our location. We had similar issues with Google Maps and Mapquest and the issue was the pin for our location was set too far back from our road so it was assumed that we were on the road that is behind our building, but there is nothing but trees inbetween us and that road. If there is any way to move the pin for our location up closer to the road we are actually on I believe this should fix the issue. Our address is 10261 Sycamore Drive, Ashland, VA 23005. Currently it has people turn on to Old Keeton Road and then to Old Telegraph Road and then stop behind our building. They need to be directed on to Lakeridge Parkway and then to Sycamore Drive.
