Waze support map update request: wrong direction (Atlanta, GA)

Hi,

We’ve received a map update request to Waze support and we’re posting here on the user’s behalf. The link to this post will be forwarded for the user to follow up.

The address has been adjusted. This should reach new search results within a few days. On rare occasions it can take closer to a week. Please remove any instance of this address from your history and favorites and search again. Waze will not update your existing history of places unless you remove and search for them again

To get rid of this corrupted location, please tap “Where to?”, scroll to look for 4410 Roswell Rd Sandy Springs, Ga. The next step depends on your version of Waze.

  • If you see three dots to the right, tap the dots, then tap “Remove”
  • If you DO NOT see the three dots, press on your destination for a few seconds until another menu appears. Tap “Remove drive”. You can also swipe left on the destination and tap Options to pull up this menu.
    Keep doing this until all copies of your destination are removed.

Perform these steps if your destination is also in Saved places, Home, and/or Work.

Then, please tap “Where to?” and search for 4410 Roswell Rd Sandy Springs, Ga again. You should see a teardrop shape on the left. If not, please check your search history/Saved places/Home/Work again as the destination is still in your device cache.

It looks like the bad results might also be coming from using the city of Marietta instead of Sandy Springs.
