Great news! Wazeopedia is now officially live on Waze Discuss for all users. We’re excited to bring all our knowledge and discussions together in one place!
Here’s a quick review of how it’s organized:
Content & Design Organization:
- New Accounts: Each country now has its own dedicated “wiki country” account. This means you won’t see individual usernames as the authors of topics. When you edit an article, your name will appear in the edit history.
- Read-Only Articles: All Wazeopedia articles are currently set to “closed,” meaning users can’t directly reply to the main post. However, you can still edit the content based on the category permissions. Users who are Discuss Trust level 4 and forum moderators can reply to posts, but please avoid doing so
- Wiki Content Tools: You can find helpful information about Wiki templates and markdown options in the Category Wiki Content Tools.
- Custom Banners: You can request specific text for your country’s banner.
- Discuss Articles: You can preview all the articles in Discuss Wazeopedia.
- Local Banners: We’ve added dedicated local banners for each country.
- Updating the internal links from wazeopedia to Wiki Disucss was done as thoroughly as possible . This means some older links might still need manual correction.
Feedback & Requests:
- Please use this form for all your Wazeopedia feedback and requests. You can also report on Wazeopedia forum.
- Global Champs who are also Discuss moderators are available to assist with any Discuss-related questions you might have.

A huge thank you to all the Global Champs and Coordinators for their great help and support in editing and organizing all this valuable content.
We believe that centralizing all our knowledge and discussions within Waze Discuss will be a significant benefit to our entire community.
Shira on behalf of the Communities Team.
