Tour de France is one of the most famous sporting events in the world, and this year the top cyclists compete in a 21-stage race across Denmark, Belgium, Switzerland and France. We’re thrilled to share with our Community that Waze is activating a 3-year event partnership with Tour de France as a Global Event Partner (GEP), and will be the Tour’s Official Traffic Manager.
Through this bespoke partnership and sponsorship, Waze will add even more value to drivers’ experiences by providing tools to drivers, collaborating with the awesome community members to help navigate those going to (or away from) the event.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We’re setting up a team of roughly 20 Editors to manage road closures and handle ad hoc requests throughout the event (July 1 -24).

Departure Stage: Attend in a privileged way the start of a stage of the Tour de France which is always a special moment. Possibility of discussing with former riders, observing the preparations of the organization and if you are lucky, taking photos with some professional peloton riders 
Arrival Stage : Access VIP zones and attend podiums and events organized for guests
Waze will announce this partnership on June 14th, 2022. In the meantime, please don’t share any information on social media.
