Well, “Ramp topic” is really complex… And there are also some roads that are not categoriezed correctly on the map and should be fixed…
Generall, ramps should be used only for 3 types of roads - Freeways, Major Highways and Minor Highways. Basically serve for “exit” from that highway. They also get different voice command (exit right instead of keep right). Also, they shouild be only used when grade is different - for example when you have ramps going from one highway to another highway, while one of them is on the bridge / in the tunnel. But this is only short and basic explanation and there are several exceptions.
On this particular spot, I would agree with this segment being a ramp as one highway changes here to another one. But on this intersection, I would change more segments into ramps, but as I wrote, there are many many intersections that require fixing these in Jordan… Best would be to really read about Ramps, their usage and exceptions to fully understand them. Also, naming for them is important and as I mentioned above, voice commands are different…
EDIT: I have just changed some segments here to Ramps, I would also suggest to change these to Ramps as well as again, it is a highway change…
But this is for example continuous road, so it is ok as Minor Highway.
Guys, feel free to provide your insight onto this as well, I would be intersted as well, because Ramps are the ones I spent most time of studying them and it is still not 100% clear (and every country has different rules to make it easier :lol: )…
I see that you still did not fix this loop you were asking about. Please do not forget about it… And also the area around that loop has still many many issues…
