Hi. I was told that I should post here about my question.
I want to become a helpful part of the Waze Community and start editing frequently. However, I am at Level 1 an do not know what I’m able to do at each level. When I edit and am not at the right level it just tells me I can’t do that because “I don’t have permissions to make some of the changes.” Is there any place where it lists exactly what permissions you have on each level?

In order to preserve the accuracy of our maps, R1 editors can only edit L1 roads and places. As you gain experience, you will be able to edit higher level places and roads.
We have a very active group of editors in New England and stay in touch via Discord. Waze maps have many complexities and the best way to learn to edit is by working with other editors.
