My account says that I have road candy about 28,000 feet away. I do not see the road candy on the map. How do I find it?

Where in your account does it say this? The only way I know of to know where road candy is is to look at the map and see the candy.
Speaking of road candy, havenāt seen other than editing candy in ages. Whatās up with that, Waze? A box of candy is so cheap. Iāll pay for it :x

Iāve had the client tell me āRoad Candy Ahead for 500 editsā or another reason. It may have only showed up after a recent app re-install.
I have found that if the candy canāt be found, or reached, if I exit the app, then kill it and restart the app, the candy will show up at a new junction ahead. Iāve had to do this a few times and it works every time.
The good olā days of cupcakes popping up regularly seem to have gone away. Candies, like unmunched roads, were a gaming incentive to get you to drive down streets you wouldnāt normally, so that Waze could capture the location, speed, turns allowed at junction information. The reason for needing candies in mature countries like the US (āmatureā in terms of Waze map maturity) doesnāt exist any longer.
I do believe we will, at least in the US, get holiday goodies to munch. Next one should be Halloween.
What about the 750 point candy for every 500 edits?
Iām still getting those. I got 2 this morning on my way to work. 
I wasnāt referring to bonus candies awarded for achievements. I would think if no one was getting any bonus candies for friends added, map updates sent, etc., that there would be more threads about it.
Despite having been fairly consistent with editing this week, Iāve noted that I did not get any 500pt bonus candies today, and perhaps yesterday.
