No really, why is the forum accessible but I’m not allowed to answer a direct question/message?
It has to do with the ‘Trust Levels’ that the forum software is using to help prevent spam. You will quickly advance to a more trusted level after you spend some time reading posts and such.

Sure, but my point is that the level system makes no sense. With no points I could still post here, which has even higher spam potential, but I could not answer a contributor’s question to actually improve the map. The way it’s structured it makes it easier to spam and harder to actually contribute.
It’s so frustrating as a first experience, especially after suffering with a map failure that I no longer wish to help this community.
