My address is 2212 Truman Lane, Oakley, CA 94561 and every time I use waze to go home or (worse) tell someone to use this wonderful app to get to my house, it takes them onto Tate Lane behind my house. I tried getting into the editor to correct this but all the roads are correct and I read some forum about address pins but I could not find any way to see or change an address pin. Maybe I am not a high enough editor but this is a serious problem that deters alot of my family and friends from this app. If it can’t get them to my house properly then how can they trust it to get them anywhere else? Can anyone correct this or guide me through how to change it. I watched the editor video twice and there is nothing about changing address pins in there.

If you want the full gory details, please peruse the wiki page on house numbers. In particular, note that Waze does not use house numbers for routing unless they have been added or modified by a human editor. Yours hasn’t.
So, to solve the problem, go to https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lon=-121.73872&lat=37.98852&layers=1925&zoom=7&segments=5854126, click on “Edit house numbers”, find your house, click on the little blue dot next to the number, and drag it a few feet towards the street. Click “Save” at the top and then “Close”. Next, you need to edit the street itself to force Waze to update the tile; you can do this by dragging the nearest intersection around a little, as long as you put it back where it was originally; then save. Wait for the next tile update (usually within 24 hours, but sometimes they get delayed), and voila! 
At that point, though, you need to remove your home address from your Navigation Favorites and history, and do a new search so that Waze will know to use the new location.
At 30 E Huron, Chicago, IL, the entrance is actually on N Walbash.
This can lead to poor routing due to the one ways streets in Chicago.
Is the stop point or house number used to determine routing.
I am an Uber driver using the Uber app.
The name alone should give away the answer. It is also made very clear in the documentation in the wiki which you should be reading prior to posting.
