Lakeview Drive has unmanned, key-card only access into Windstar on Naples Bay. Rideshare drivers leave because they cannot get through. Other drivers cannot pass. Most residents cannot leave via this gate either.
Access and egress IS availabls via manned gate on Windstar Blvd. You should route ALL traffic via Windstar Blvd.
Waze is unable to differentiate from a visitor or a resident. Waze is mapped for commuters and we must consider all routes for a community’s residents. In the future we hope to have a solution for the resident vs visitor routing. Thank you.
It is worse than that.
Breakwater Way is a private road for only Breakwater Way residents. It is gated (by an unmanned, keycard only access) and closed at all times on both ends. There is a gate at Haldeman Creek and Breakwater as well as a gate at Breakwater and Lakeview. No one else can pass. That means any directions to another area within the Windstar on Naples either entering or leaving will not be able to get through this way and must use the Windstar Blvd access/egress.
You should never map anyone into or out of Windstar on Naples Bay via Breakwater Way.
