In case you missed this announcement, Waze would to hear your thoughts about some WME features:

In the second half of 2024 we’ve been busy getting out some features you’ve been asking for for a long time, including:

  • Suggest an Edit
  • Alphanumeric Addresses
  • Map Clutter
  • Camera Types

Now that you’ve had a chance to use these new functionalities for a while, we’d like to check in to hear more feedback on your experience so far.

We’d also like to check in and give you a chance to share your thoughts on the state of the Waze Editors Community in general.

Are there any plans to include height restrictions in Waze route planning. There is no facility to include vehicle height and relate this to height restrictions that may be on suggested route.

It almost caused me to have a serious accident when travelling through Paris in over-height van and Waze sent me in to a tunnel but fortunately, I realised and was able to use the escape road immediately after the height restriction measure.

This is something we ask Waze for on a regular basis, but it’s not on their roadmap.
